This was my entry for the first stage of Graphic’s 2011 animation competition. You had to create a 30 second scene, which you would build upon if you made it through to the next round. Voting was conducted on YouTube and was open to the public.

I went for an obvious interpretation of the theme (escape), with a prison breakout. The camera slowly zooms out from a hole under the prison fence. A rumbling begins, you think someone’s digging through! But oh no, it’s only a rogue elephant racing past.

Of course I decided to enter a week before the deadline.

This is an animation I completed for Girl Guides Australia, while working at Orion Creative in Bella Vista.

The brief was to create one of those type-based motion pieces. Unfortunately it was a rush job, not a lot of time allocated, but I think it turned out OK. The Girl Guides were very happy.

An illustration for the newsletter of financial group, Osborne Yuille. They asked for a lawyer, manager and accountant dressed as the Three Amigos.
